Pierre Thysen

Pierre Thysen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. At John Cockerill, they have held various positions including Head of Operations - Business Line Metals, Company Manager - Entity of Liège, Plant Manager, General Manager of Welding Expertise Center, Deputy General Manager - Welding Expertise Center, and QA Engineer & Supervisor of expatriate QA/QC inspectors. Pierre'sresponsibilities have included managing quality issues, fabrication issues, and a team of QA/QC inspectors. Prior to John Cockerill, they worked at Caterpillar as an Operation supervisor, Manufacturing supervisor, and Industrialization Engineer. Additionally, they have also worked as a Professor at HELMo Haute Ecole, teaching Introduction to IWE Job.

Pierre Thysen earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from HELMo in 2001. Pierre later pursued a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Liège, which they completed in 2002. In 2012, they obtained a degree in International Welding Engineering from an undisclosed institution, specializing in Welding Engineering Technology/Technician.
