Boris Goldshmidt

Boris Goldshmidt is a seasoned business improvement and manufacturing engineer with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as a Business Improvement Engineer at John Crane since July 1993. Goldshmidt has successfully led multiple projects aimed at enhancing delivery performance, inventory data integrity, and overall equipment effectiveness, while developing programs in Azure Databricks and Power BI dashboards. Previous roles include Continuous Improvement Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where significant achievements include driving Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational processes and training employees in various software and operational excellence practices. Goldshmidt holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
