Cristof Leonhardt

Cristof Leonhardt is a seasoned engineer with a comprehensive background in product application and performance, currently serving as a Staff Engineer at John Deere since March 2004. Responsibilities include vehicle performance tuning and product improvement, alongside previous roles as Product Manager for Precision Construction, where embedded product technologies such as grade control and automation were managed. Cristof has also worked as Project Manager, overseeing field evaluations for heavy equipment, and as a Product Marketing Manager for motorgraders and backhoes. Earlier career experiences include roles as Test Engineering Supervisor and Test Engineer, with responsibilities for vehicle testing and validation management, as well as structural performance testing during an international assignment. Cristof started with a foundation in mechanical design as a Product Design Engineer in drivetrain and engine components for tractors and combines. Prior experience includes an internship at PROMM Indústria de Materiais Cirúrgicos LTDA, specializing in CNC operation and designing facial reconstruction parts. Cristof holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFRGS.
