William Nobles

William Nobles, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Product Investment Risk at John Hancock, a position held since July 2020. In this role, Nobles leads Global Manager Research for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) oversight, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations and presenting macroeconomic insights to the John Hancock Fund Board Committee. Prior to this, Nobles was the Senior Director and Head of Manager Oversight for Manulife Hong Kong, where successful initiatives included defending over $4 billion in capital and launching innovative products for Asian investors. Nobles has held various roles within investment management, including positions at John Hancock Investments, CapTrust Advisors, Transamerica, Bank of America, and Columbia Management, accumulating extensive experience in investment analysis and portfolio management. Nobles holds an MS in Finance from Boston College and a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of South Florida.
