Sarah Hickernell

Sarah Hickernell currently serves as the Director of Operations at the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Interim Director of Development and Development Operations Manager at the Toledo Museum of Art from November 2021 to January 2025. Experience also includes serving as Executive Director and Development Officer at Owens Community College, and Director of Resource Development at Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont, where fundraising strategies were executed to meet revenue targets. Sarah's earlier roles include Fundraising Systems Consultant at Blackbaud, District Sales Manager at Blockbuster, Service Delivery Specialist at Girl Scouts of Penn Lakes Council, and participation in the Steering Committee for the Girl Scouts of the USA National Convention. Academically, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Information Technology in Cyber/Computer Forensics and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Project Management.
