Michael Vella

Michael Vella is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in employee relations and people operations. Currently serving as General Manager of People Operations at John Holland since June 2012, Michael has held several key positions within the company, including Group Manager for the National Advisory Service Employee Relations & People Services and National Advisory Service Employee Relations Manager. Prior to joining John Holland, Michael worked at QBE Insurance as a Senior HR Specialist in Employee Relations and as an Employee Relations Consultant. Michael's career in workplace relations began at The Real Estate Employers' Federation of NSW, where responsibilities included managing workplace relations and advising on related matters. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Western Sydney University, completed between 2003 and 2005.
