Chris Shore has a diverse work experience in project management and directorial roles. Chris is currently working as a Project Director at the John Innes Centre since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at UCL as the Director of Capital Projects from January 2019 to April 2023, and as the Assistant Director of Capital Projects in 2018. Before joining UCL, they were associated with Arcadis as a Project Director from April 2017 to January 2018, and as a Partner from April 2015 to January 2018. Chris also served as a Director at EC Harris from January 2013 to March 2015 and as the Director of Buildings at ARCADIS UK from January 2005 to December 2012. Chris started their career at AYH plc where they worked as a Building Surveyor and Project Manager from July 1993 to December 2004.

Chris Shore attended Loughborough Grammar School from 1983 to 1988. After completing their secondary education, they went on to Sheffield Hallam University from 1988 to 1990 to pursue a degree in Land Administration, although the specific degree name is not provided. Chris then transferred to De Montfort University from 1990 to 1993 to obtain a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc(Hons)) in Building Surveying.
