Paul Booker BEM has over 35 years of work experience in project management and property management roles. Paul Booker BEM is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at John Innes Centre since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Project and Property Management at Proper Property Planning since June 2020. From July 2018 to June 2020, they worked as a Senior Planner / Project Manager at R G Carter.

From 2016 to 2018, Paul worked at Suffolk County Council as a Regional Property Manager (Vertas Property Management), where they managed the council's property portfolio and negotiated contracts with external clients. Paul Booker BEM also provided maintenance services and building surveys, as well as forecasting and dashboards for the Board Members. Prior to this role, from 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Regional Property Manager Corporate Property at the same council, managing building compliance and property maintenance for over 500 government properties in Suffolk. Paul Booker BEM also planned and programmed capital improvement projects.

Paul's earlier experience includes working as a Client Project Manager (Major Construction) Corporate Property at Suffolk County Council from September 2009 to July 2011, managing construction contracts worth over £20 million. Before that, they held various managerial positions at R G Carter, Claydon Associates Ltd, Armfield. Ltd, Lacey Simmons Group PLC, Kemp Stroud Ltd, and Gostling builders.

Throughout their career, Paul has managed numerous high-profile projects including hospitals, government buildings, police stations, schools, and footbridges. Paul Booker BEM has demonstrated expertise in project management, property management, compliance, forecasting, and budgeting.

Paul Booker BEM began their education at West London College in 1985, where they obtained a degree in Chartered Builder/Surveyor in 1997. Alongside their academic achievements, Paul also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1995, they became a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). In 2008, they obtained the Technical Member certification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Additionally, in 2009, Paul became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Chartered Management Institute.
