Matthew Street

Matthew Street has over two decades of experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Director of the John Lewis Trust Board and Partnership Councillor at John Lewis & Partners since July 2015, Matthew also holds positions as Chair of the Local Governing Body and Board Member at Beacon Academy since March 2019. Additional roles include Foodbank Trustee at Crowborough Foodbank since 2014, Elected Town Councillor and former Mayor of Crowborough since November 2010, and Branch Manager at Waitrose & Partners since June 2000. Previous experience includes serving as Parent Governor at Sir Henry Fermor School and earlier roles at John Lewis & Partners and Marks and Spencer. Matthew holds a BA (HONS) in History and Politics from the University of Warwick.
