Ben Hawes

Ben Hawes currently serves as the Business Development and Partnerships Lead at John Lewis Partnership, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Ben held various leadership roles at InterContinental Hotels Group from July 2011 to June 2022, including Director of Loyalty, Partnerships & Ventures for EMEAA. Ben's extensive experience in the sports sector includes serving as Board Member and Chair of the Athletes' Commission for the British Olympic Association from June 2010 to December 2021, advocating for athletes' interests. As a former athlete, Ben represented Great Britain and England in hockey, competing in the Athens, Beijing, and London Olympics, including serving as captain in Beijing. Early career roles include Brand Manager at McGregor Fashion Group, where Ben developed brand strategies and managed Formula 1 sponsorships. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Product Design & Sports Technology from the University of Brighton.
