Chris Earnshaw

Chris Earnshaw is an experienced leader in the retail sector, currently serving as President of the John Lewis Partnership Council since October 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the effectiveness of the Partnership’s representative bodies. Prior to this role, Chris held multiple senior positions at Waitrose & Partners from May 2016 to October 2019, including Head of Shop Trade, managing a team of 46 Branch Managers and 4,500 Partners, and Head of Retail Operations with a focus on Group K. Chris's extensive experience at John Lewis from September 1998 to April 2016 included roles such as Head of Branch and General Manager, where responsibilities involved leading large teams to achieve retail operating plans across various locations.
