Andrew Abesamis

Andrew Abesamis, MPH, serves as a Program Manager for Foundation and Government Grants at John Muir Health since March 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing post-award management for numerous significant grants and executing the $100M "Campaign to Conquer Cancer," the largest campaign in the organization's history. Prior experience includes positions as a Project Coordinator at Alameda Health Consortium, managing various healthcare grants and conducting trainings, and a Student Worker role at the University of Southern California, providing customer service to graduate students. Abesamis also has experience in public health from earlier roles, including a summer internship at John Muir Health focused on developing educational programs for medical residents. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University, complemented by a certificate in Nonprofit Management from The University of Texas at Austin.
