Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith, CPA, MBA, is an experienced financial professional with a comprehensive background in healthcare and accounting. Currently serving as Controller at John Muir Health since March 2008, Jeffrey leads the corporate accounting function for a prominent nonprofit healthcare organization. Previous roles include Executive Director overseeing a $30.1 million Workday ERP implementation, Director of Finance managing significant construction projects totaling over $1 billion, and Finance Manager directing a capital program. Prior experience includes positions at Kaiser Permanente, the California Culinary Academy, GATX, and KPMG. Jeffrey holds an Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
