Melissa Clancy

Melissa Clancy, MSHA, CPHQ, is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Quality & Patient Safety at John Muir Health since August 2015. In this role, Melissa oversees critical functions such as accreditation, hospital licensing, quality assurance, patient safety, risk management, and policy management across two general acute care hospitals, a psychiatric hospital, and an outpatient clinic network. Previously, Melissa held managerial positions at John Muir Health focusing on accreditation and patient safety and served as Program Manager for the Patient Safety Plan. Prior experience includes roles in perioperative services at Providence and hospital operations at Cottage Health, encompassing various clinical areas. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology & Physiology from UCLA and a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from California State University - East Bay.
