Daphne Walker

Daphne Walker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Daphne is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at JPS Health Network since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at United Surgical Partners International, Inc as the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President from 2017 to 2020, and as the Deputy General Counsel from 2015 to 2017.

Before joining United Surgical Partners International, Inc, Daphne held positions at Tenet Healthcare, where they worked as an Assistant General Counsel/Senior Counsel in the Outpatient Services Division from 2012 to 2015 and as a Senior Counsel in the Regulatory department from 2011 to 2012.

Daphne began their career at Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. in 2005, where they worked as a Senior Associate in the Healthcare sector from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Associate/Briefing Clerk for the same firm from 2005 to 2006.

Daphne also has experience in nursing, as they worked as a Medical Surgical Nurse and Performance Improvement Manager at the Medical Center of Arlington from 2001 to 2005 while attending law school.

Earlier in their career, they served as an Interim Chief Nursing Officer/ICU Med-Surg Manager at Hereford Regional Medical Center from 1993 to 2001.

Daphne Walker graduated from Hereford High School. Daphne then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from West Texas A&M University, which they completed between 1993 and 1997. Later, they attended SMU Dedman School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, completing their legal education between 2003 and 2006.
