Tina Whitfield

Tina Whitfield, MBA has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Tina is currently the Director of Medical Services Reimbursement at JPS Health Network, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, Tina worked at HealthAxis Group as an Account/Project Manager from November 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining HealthAxis Group, Tina was the Claims Manager at Silverback TPA, where they managed Medicare Advantage claims floor operations and supervised a team of examiners and the mailroom. Tina held this role from December 2016 to November 2018.

Tina's career at Aetna spanned over two decades, during which they held various managerial positions. Tina served as the Medicare Service Operations Claim Vendor Manager from June 2016 to December 2016, where they managed multiple vendor teams and conducted regular meetings for quality improvement. Prior to this, Tina was the Claims Data Manager, overseeing a team of Claim Data Reporting analysts and managing reporting for the Joint Claim Administration Claims Operation organization.

Through their roles at different organizations, Tina has demonstrated their ability to manage teams, conduct meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and generate reports for quality improvement and organizational functions.

Tina Whitfield holds an EMBA with an emphasis on healthcare administration from Texas Woman's University, which they obtained in 2012. Tina previously studied healthcare administration at the University of North Texas from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (AS) in Information Technology at Tarrant County College in 2002. Tina completed their secondary education at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School from 1986 to 1989.
