Crystal Watson is currently the Deputy Director at JHU Center for Outbreak Response Innovation. Crystal has a background in public health preparedness, biodefense, risk assessment, and emerging infectious diseases. With experience at various institutions, including Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and UPMC Center for Health Security, Crystal has been involved in policy research, program management, and science advising roles. Crystal holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
