Pel Ozel

Pel Ozel is a Neuroscience Doctoral Candidate Researcher at Johns Hopkins Medicine since August 2019 and has been actively involved in several leadership and research roles in the biotech sector. As Co-Managing Director of Nucleate DC/Baltimore, Pel led a team of 20 in identifying biotech entrepreneurs and facilitating workshops, while also securing partnerships and sponsorships. Pel contributes as a consultant for the Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club, working on projects including a pricing model for a medical device startup and a sponsorship strategy for Foundation 59. Prior research experience includes investigating neural attractor dynamics at Dartmouth College, culminating in a manuscript and honors thesis. Pel holds an Honors degree in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
