Annie Butt

Annie Butt is an accomplished associate scientist specializing in diabetes at The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute, where contributions have been made since June 2021. Previously, Annie served as an emergency department medical scribe at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and held various roles during an academic career at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, including undergraduate researcher in multiple labs, president of the Biomedical Engineering Society, and tutor. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, graduating summa cum laude from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a high school diploma from Sayreville War Memorial High. Prior experience also includes a surgical observer position at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and an internship at University Hospital.
