Juan Felipe Ruiz is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, specializing in the Space Exploration Sector since August 2014. Ruiz serves as Chief Engineer of the Mechanical Systems Group and has played key roles in various NASA missions, including serving as Rotor Mechanical Engineer for the Dragonfly Mission and Lead Mechanical Engineer for the GUSTO Balloon-Borne Observatory.
