Michelle Kim

Michelle Kim is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in genomics and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Scientist at Pacific Biosciences since August 2021, Michelle previously held the position of Lead Scientist at Circulomics Inc, contributing to the development of groundbreaking sample preparation technologies for the Nanobind platform. Michelle's earlier roles include Senior Scientist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where significant work focused on HIV-1 research, and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, specializing in RNA interference mechanisms. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and has a diverse background that includes work in public relations and legal assistance.
