Sally O'Brien

Sally O'Brien serves as the Chief Engagement Officer at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C., leading external engagement strategies that align with the university's mission to disseminate knowledge globally. Previous roles include Senior Adviser and Senior Vice President at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where guidance was provided on partnership strategies and significant funding was generated for initiatives. Sally also held the position of Associate Dean for External Affairs at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, overseeing media and fundraising strategies, and was the Director of Development at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Early career experience includes work as a Third Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
