Thomas McDermott

Thomas McDermott has held significant roles in financial aid and student services at The Johns Hopkins University since November 1997, currently serving as the Associate Vice Provost for Financial Aid and Executive Director of Student Financial Services. Before this position, Thomas served as the Director of Student Financial Services and, from July 2017 to June 2022, as the Assistant Vice Provost for Financial Aid and Director of Student Financial Services. Thomas earned a Master of Science from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, completing undergraduate studies between 1988 and 1992.
