Scott Coons

Scott Coons is an accomplished leader in the field of research and development, currently serving as Vice President Research And Development and Chief Technology Officer at Johns Manville since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Vice President of R&D for Advanced Materials and Solutions at SWM International and multiple vice president positions at Bemis Company, Inc. focused on healthcare packaging and innovation. Previous to these roles, Scott held various positions at Avery Dennison, including Plant Manager and Technical Director, as well as serving as Technical Manager at DSM Desotech. Scott Coons holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and a BA in Chemistry and Mathematics from Knox College.
