Christy Bryant is the current Trustee at Johnson C. Smith University. Christy has a long and accomplished history in the financial industry. Christy started their career in 1977 at Bank of America where they worked for 33 years, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology & Delivery - Project Management Office. In 2011, Christy left Bank of America to become a Business Consultant at Premier Alliance where they worked for just over a year. In 2012, Christy joined Wells Fargo as Vice President of Corporate Credit and Commercial Regulatory Capital Oversight, a position they held until 2016. Christy left Wells Fargo in July 2015 to become President of the National Alumni Association at their Alma Mater, Johnson C. Smith University, a position they held until June 2019 when they became a Trustee of the university.

Christy Bryant received their BA in Mathematics/Physics from Johnson C. Smith University - JCSU. Christy also has certification from 11352 in Project Management Professional and Six Sigma - Black Belt.
