Lacy Robinson has a diverse work experience within the funeral service industry. In 2005, they served as the Director of Professional Development at Aurora Casket Company for a decade. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as the Director of Member Development at the National Funeral Directors Association. Following this role, Lacy Robinson joined various organizations and companies, including TMZ Live as a Guest Commentator, where they provided expert insights. They also served on the Advisory Board of Epilogg, a platform that allows users to create unique obituaries. Lacy Robinson further contributed to the funeral service profession by being a part of the Hospice Supportive Care Professional Advisory Council at Funeralocity. Lacy Robinson has a diverse education history. In 1997, they began their undergraduate studies at Georgetown College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Lacy successfully completed their studies in 2001.

Following their bachelor's degree, Lacy enrolled in the Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 2002. There, they obtained an Associate's degree of Applied Science in Funeral Service and completed their studies in 2003.

Recently, in 2022, Lacy Robinson pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Midway University. Their focus in the MBA program was on Bourbon Tourism and Event Management, and they successfully completed their studies in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Lacy has obtained several certifications. Lacy is a Certified Cremation Services Provider, having been certified by the National Funeral Directors Association in March 2018. Lacy has also obtained certifications as a Certified Bourbon Steward from the Stave & Thief Society and as a Certified Funeral Celebrant from the Insight-Institute, though the exact dates of these certifications are unknown.
