Derrick Liu

Derrick Liu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in plant operations and engineering management. Currently serving as the VP of Plant Operations at Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning since March 2017, Derrick oversees central air-conditioning systems, including VRF and chiller technologies. Prior roles include VP & COO at Sandvik and General Manager at Atlas Copco, where Derrick managed diverse machinery and tools, including rock crushers and pneumatic equipment. Previous positions also include Operations Manager at Atlas Copco, Production Supervisor at Emerson, Project Leader at P&G Engineering in Singapore, and R&D Engineer at CSR Sifang Co., Ltd. Derrick holds a Diploma in Business Management from China Europe International Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tongji University.
