Ken Xu

Ken Xu is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in global category management and strategic sourcing. Currently serving as Global Category Manager at Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning since March 2021, Ken leads the Global Electronics Category Team, driving significant savings and optimizing supplier bases across 12 global plants. Prior to this role, Ken held positions of increasing responsibility at Signify, including Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager and Global Procurement Manager, where successful management of substantial supplier relationships and project leadership in new product development were key contributions. Earlier experience includes procurement project management at Philips Lighting and sourcing roles at GE Energy and GE, where Ken focused on cost control and material sourcing in various engineering projects. Ken holds a Master of Business Administration from Tongji University and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Shanghai University of Engineering Science.
