Daksh Mehta

Daksh Mehta is a metallurgist with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently employed at Johnson Controls Automotive since October 2011, providing metallurgical support to various teams. Prior experience includes a role as a senior designer at SABIC Innovative Plastics from September 2010 to May 2011, where Daksh analyzed the material properties of ULTEM and aluminum, concluding that while ULTEM cannot match aluminum's mechanical strength, it presents opportunities in specific elevated temperature applications. Earlier experience includes a position as a student researcher at Purdue University, where Daksh conducted testing on carbon fiber/epoxy composites and investigated failure mechanisms. Daksh holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Purdue University, obtained in 2011.
