Lester Sherrow

Lester Sherrow is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and development of residential gas furnaces and packaged products. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Johnson Controls since December 2016, Lester leads design teams in product development, simulation, and testing processes. Previously, Lester held key roles at Generac Power Systems as Director of Engineering, overseeing the residential standby generator product line, and at Trane, where contributions included advanced solutions for residential gas furnaces and leadership positions as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager. Lester began a career in mechanical engineering at the Gas Technology Institute, focusing on combustion experiments. Lester earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
