Amber Bourek Slater

Amber Bourek Slater serves as the Volunteer Services Coordinator at Johnson County Library since August 2019. With a diverse background in nonprofit management and volunteer coordination, Amber previously held roles such as Front Desk/AYS Associate at Marriott Overland Park and Assistant Director of Volunteer Relations at NourishKC. Amber's experience includes managing volunteer engagement at Harvesters and overseeing communication efforts at Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additionally, Amber contributed to nonprofit initiatives as a PR Coordinator at SAFEHOME and as a Steering Committee Communication Chair for YNPNkc, focusing on networking in the nonprofit sector.
