Beth Mercer

Beth Mercer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in library services, multimedia production, photography, and writing. Currently serving as an Information Specialist at Johnson County Library since August 2017, Beth has also held various roles including Library Clerk and Library Page. In addition to library work, Beth is a freelance Video Editor proficient in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, with experience in creating content for local nonprofits. As a Fine Art Photographer, Beth focuses on travel and nature photography while also undertaking commercial projects, and has transitioned from film to digital photography using a Canon T2i. Beth's writing and editing skills are demonstrated through work for a major self-publishing company and content creation for businesses featured on Sears. Previous roles include Executive Assistant at Lifted Spirits Distillery, Copyeditor at Black & Veatch, and various positions that highlight strong organizational and creative abilities. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Kansas State University.
