Paula McCarthy

Paula McCarthy is a dedicated educator and technology instructor with extensive experience in teaching and customer service. Currently serving as a 50 Plus Technology Instructor at Johnson County Park & Recreation District since January 2023, Paula specializes in educating individuals over 50 on various technology platforms. Additionally, Paula volunteers at the Johnson County Library, assisting with technology projects. With a robust background as an English Teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School from 1998 to 2020, Paula developed comprehensive lesson plans that aligned with educational standards. Previous roles include customer service coordination at American National Can and advertising representation for the Oshkosh Daily Northwestern, complemented by a strong academic foundation in journalism, teaching, and educational technology.
