Bryan Shefchik is an experienced software engineer who has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Bryan started their career as a Functional Computed Tomography Software Engineer Intern at GE Healthcare, where they developed software tools that helped assess potential risks involved with software updates, resulting in cost savings for the company.

Bryan then joined Quad/Graphics as a Software Development Intern, where they created software solutions for inventory warehousing operations and played a key role in automating inventory control for a new storage facility, saving the company a significant amount in operating costs.

Afterwards, Bryan worked at GE Healthcare as a Software Development Engineer, designing and implementing software technologies for critical care life-support systems. Bryan played a major role in developing features for an advanced gesture-based user interface for ICU ventilators.

Following their time at GE Healthcare, Bryan joined Philips as a Software Engineer III. There, they designed and implemented software solutions for radiation oncology treatment planning, focusing on improving usability and optimizing dose calculation algorithms.

Most recently, Bryan has been working at Johnson Health Tech North America. Bryan initially served as a Senior Software Engineer, creating quality UI software solutions for premium cardio exercise consoles. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineer Team Lead, managing a team of software engineers and guiding the development of software solutions for cardio fitness consoles.

Throughout their career, Bryan has demonstrated a strong focus on software quality, user experience, and performance optimization. Bryan has also provided support and guidance to offshore teams and has been involved in standardizing UI elements to meet specific customer branding requirements.

Bryan Shefchik completed their MBA in General Management from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2006.
