Sonia Yu

Sonia (Ying) Yu is currently the Sr. Software Manager, R&D at Johnson & Johnson Vision, overseeing software planning, execution, and delivery of surgical vision laser platform products. Prior to this role, Sonia (Ying) served as the Vice President, Research and Development at Varocto Inc, managing the development of an optical coherence tomography angiography product. With a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University, Sonia has a strong background in software engineering and product development across various companies such as Avinger Inc., Carl Zeiss Meditec, and Kodak Health Group.
