Damon Tan

Damon Tan is currently engaged in a Master Thesis at California Polytechnic State University, focusing on the redesign of a hypoxic incubator control system utilizing FMEA methodologies and various technical skills. Previously, Damon served as an intern at Uni-Bio Science Group, gaining exposure to drug development and medical device design. Experience includes a role as a student researcher in the Microphysiological Systems Lab and R&D positions at Johnson & Johnson, as well as Stryker, where skills in machining, CAD, and 3D printing were applied to develop novel medical devices. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Design Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Cal Poly, as well as ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
