Jason Xuan

Jason Xuan is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in the medical laser system development sector. Currently serving as a Sr. Hardware Engineering Manager at Johnson & Johnson since August 2021, Jason has successfully launched the ELITA Femtosecond laser system for vision correction and obtained CE mark for European market entry. Previously, Jason held a Sr. Laser System Engineering Manager position at Boston Scientific, where focus on laser engineering and team development was pivotal. Prior roles include leadership in developing the award-winning Greenlight 180W XPS system at American Medical Systems, as well as experience in optical system engineering and production at Laserscope, INC, and JDSU. Jason's academic credentials include an Executive MBA from Santa Clara University and advanced degrees in Electro-optics and Physics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
