Jijo James

Jijo James has extensive experience in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer for MedTech & External Innovation at Johnson & Johnson since August 2014. Previous roles at Johnson & Johnson included leadership in the Consumer sector, where responsibilities encompassed promoting scientific and medical excellence and overseeing safety initiatives. Prior to this, Jijo James held senior positions at Pfizer, including Sr. Director, Therapeutic Area Head, and Chief of Staff, focusing on safety and regulatory oversight and strategic operations. Earlier career milestones included consulting roles at Infosys Technologies and serving as President & CEO of PGMS, Inc. Jijo James holds an MPH in Public Health from Columbia University and an MD from St. John’s Medical College.
