Elizabeth Rowsell Obe Cchem Frsc

Elizabeth Rowsell OBE CChem FRSC is a prominent chemist with extensive experience in leadership and research within the chemical industry. Since October 1993, Elizabeth has held multiple significant positions at Johnson Matthey, including Chief Technology Officer and Corporate R&D Director. In addition to contributions at Johnson Matthey, Elizabeth serves on several advisory and leadership boards, including as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for the Green Chemistry Beacon at the University of Nottingham and as a Council Member of the Advanced Materials Leadership Council at Innovate UK. Elizabeth is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Royal Society of Chemistry and serves on the Board for the Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore at the University of Cambridge. Elizabeth earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the University of Essex from 1989 to 1993.
