Evan Hansen

Evan Hansen, CEM®, serves as the Global Clean Air Sustainability & Environmental Manager at Johnson Matthey since September 2019, where responsibilities include leading the global sustainability strategy to meet Science Based Targets by 2030 and achieve Net Zero by 2040. Key accomplishments involve the creation of site-specific energy savings projects resulting in nearly a 9% reduction in energy use, the development of sustainability programs with operational KPIs, and managing environmental data auditing for various reporting systems. Previous roles at Johnson Matthey include ENR Natural Gas Net Zero Analyst and Heavy Duty Diesel Commercial Analyst, along with experience as an Engineering Intern at The Chemours Company and an Environmental Affairs Intern at South Jersey Industries. Evan Hansen earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University in 2019.
