Joachim von Hoyningen-Huene

Joachim von Hoyningen-Huene currently serves as Managing Director of the Catalysts Business Unit and Managing Director of Value Businesses at Johnson Matthey, a position held since September 2020, along with chairing several boards related to this role. Prior to Johnson Matthey, Joachim von Hoyningen-Huene was a Partner at Bain & Company from January 2018 to September 2020, where expertise was focused on the Chemicals sector for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Joachim von Hoyningen-Huene's earlier experience includes a significant tenure as a Partner at A.T. Kearney from December 2002 to September 2017, co-leading the Process Industries and leading the M&A and Private Equity practice in the same region. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Post Merger Integration from the University of Duisburg-Essen, a Master of International Business in Controlling and M&A from the Norwegian School of Economics, and a Diploma in Business focusing on International Business and Controlling from the University of Mannheim.
