Rick Kester

Rick Kester has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with their most recent position being the Chief Operating Officer at Johnson Memorial Hospital since December 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Clinical Services Officer at the same hospital since May 2011. Rick also held the role of Vice President of Clinical Services at Rush Memorial Hospital from June 2007 to May 2011. Rick worked as the Service Line Director of Rehabilitation, Wellness, and Orthopaedics at Fayette Regional Health System from April 2001 to May 2007. Rick has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Indianapolis, teaching a Master's Level Occupational Therapy course from January 2005 to February 2006. Before that, they were the Owner/President of RT Kester, Inc from February 1999 to March 2001. Rick's early career includes being a Rehabilitation Program Manager at Mariner Post Acute Network from October 1998 to February 2000.

Rick Kester completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 1991-1995. Rick later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from the University of Indianapolis between 1995-1997. In 2016-2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University.
