Brian Derr

Brian Derr, P.E. is a seasoned professional in highway design with extensive experience in project management. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Highway Design Engineer at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since September 2014, Brian has worked on a variety of highway design projects for clients including PennDOT, NJDOT, TxDOT, and various local counties. Prior to this role, Brian was a Highway Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff from January 2008 to September 2014, focusing primarily on projects for NJDOT and engaging with local municipalities. Brian holds Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Surveying Technology/Surveying from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earned between 2003 and 2011.
