L. Burton Curry, PE, has extensive experience in water engineering, currently serving as the Water Engineering Practice Leader at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since 2005, where responsibilities include leading study and design practices for water and wastewater. Curry is also actively involved with the Chesapeake Water Environment Association, previously holding the role of President and currently serving as WEF Delegate, contributing to major water quality initiatives such as the "Tri-Con" conference. Prior to these roles, Curry has held significant positions including Chief Utility Engineer at Wallace Montgomery, Regional Engineer at ADS Environmental Services, Principal Project Manager at Weston Solutions, and City Engineer for the City of York, PA. Educational qualifications include multiple certificates on wastewater collection and treatment from California State University-Sacramento and a degree from Penn State University.
