Matthew Knight

Matthew Knight, E.I. is a Traffic Design Engineer with experience at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since June 2019. Expertise includes conducting intersection and arterial safety studies, signal warrant studies, and traffic count analyses, as well as designing signing, pavement markings, and signalization systems. Proficient in tools such as Synchro, SIDRA, and HCS, Matthew also performs economic analyses for intersection improvements and engages in lighting and pedestrian studies. Previous experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UF Transportation Institute involved micro-simulation modeling of traffic conditions in high truck percentage corridors. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, earned in 2019.
