Paul Marotta

Paul Marotta, PE, is an accomplished Structural Engineer currently serving as an Associate at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since September 2012. Specializing in the Transportation Structures Department, Paul has extensive experience in bridge design and analysis, including traditional and Accelerated Bridge Construction methods, as well as retaining wall and sign structure design. With hands-on expertise in bridge load rating and structural inspections, Paul has been involved in the load ratings of over 250 diverse bridge types, contributing to various client projects across multiple state transportation agencies. Prior experience includes an engineering internship with the Ocean City Engineering Department, where Paul assisted in site inspections and project design, and a managerial role at Sunset Beach Gifts. Paul holds a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Delaware.
