Richard Shulby Aia

Richard Shulby AIA, LEED AP, BD C is an experienced Project and Program Manager currently at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since November 2012, focusing on aviation and architecture projects following a relocation to the Charlotte, NC area in January 2022. Previously, Richard managed design efforts for the Maryland Aviation Authority, overseeing significant projects at Baltimore Washington International Airport and Martin State Airport. Richard has also served as Senior Architect and Project Manager at Michael Baker Corporation, where a relocation to Baltimore facilitated the establishment of a new Aviation Architecture group. Early career experience includes roles as Principal-Senior Project Manager at Odell Associates Inc. and Project Manager at Lee Nichols and Atkinson Dyer, leading diverse design and development teams on complex projects. Richard earned a Master's degree in Architecture from Clemson University.
