Billy Au

Billy Au is a highly experienced legal professional with a robust background in banking, corporate, finance, and securities law. Starting as an Associate at DLA Piper from October 2001 to October 2004, Billy then served as a Senior Consultant at Herbert Smith Freehills until October 2010. Following this, a role as Counsel at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP was held from November 2010 to March 2012, after which Billy became a Partner at Mayer Brown from July 2012 until December 2024. Currently, Billy holds the position of Partner at Johnson Stokes & Master since December 2024. Academically, Billy Au earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The University of Hong Kong and completed a Master’s Degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at King's College London.
