Kanagasabai T

Kanagasabai T has extensive work experience in various industries, including food manufacturing and engineering. Kanagasabai started their career as a Graduate Engineer - Apprentice at J K Pharmachem in 1996, where they received training in maintenance management and gained exposure to predictive and planned maintenance approaches. Kanagasabai then worked at Hindustan Unilever Ltd as a Unit Officer, where they were involved in the installation and commissioning of a complete manufacturing facility for skincare products. Kanagasabai also handled production and set up standard operating procedures for operation and maintenance.

Kanagasabai T then joined Perfetti Van Melle as a Senior Executive - Maintenance & Projects, where they played a key role in setting up a new factory in Bangladesh and subsequently managing engineering and maintenance activities. Kanagasabai also worked at ITC Limited as a Manager - Manufacturing (Projects), overseeing the coordination of greenfield and brownfield projects for biscuit manufacturing facilities. Kanagasabai was responsible for concept-to-commercialization of the first food factory complex for ITC Foods Business.

Next, Kanagasabai T joined Parle Agro Pvt Ltd as a General Manager, where they played an instrumental role in building new food business categories and setting up multiple factories for snack foods and confectionery. Kanagasabai then worked at Kraft Foods as a Projects Manager, responsible for the delivery of manufacturing facilities for fast product launches and the implementation of cost-effective equipment.

Kanagasabai T joined Kellogg Company in 2012, where they held various roles including Project Manager, Associate Director - Projects, APAC Technical-Innovation Leader, and Manufacturing Excellence Leader - Supply Chain. In these roles, they led teams, managed capital projects, implemented supply chain initiatives, and integrated capability enhancements.

Most recently, Kanagasabai T joined Johnsonville as a Regional Director - Operations Excellence - Asia, where they oversee operational excellence initiatives across Asia.

Kanagasabai T completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Jawahar Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1990 to 1992. Kanagasabai completed their Matriculation from St Pauls. Neyveli from 1979 to 1990.
