Chris Godwin

Chris Godwin has extensive work experience in the field of technology and education. Chris is currently serving as the Executive Director of Technology at Johnston County Public Schools since July 2021. Before this role, they worked at Johnston County Schools for 9 years, starting as a Client Services Engineer in November 2012 and later becoming the Executive Supervisor of Client Services in March 2015. Prior to that, they were a Network Engineer at Nash Rocky Mount Public Schools from August 2011 to December 2012. Their career in technology began at Horizon Technologies as a Network Engineer from January 2006 to June 2011.

Chris Godwin attended Wake Technical Community College from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an Associates of Applied Sciences in Networking Technology. Chris then went on to East Carolina University from 2007 to 2009 and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Technology.
